Baker Klein Engineering performed the design and permitting services for this roadway project in Yulee, Florida. This project included one mile of 36 ft. wide (3 lane) County roadway (David Hallman Parkway) and 2 lane roadway to Nassau County offices, both roadways designed and constructed per FDOT Standards and accepted by Nassau County. The project was in coordination with FDOT to provide a stormwater connection at the intersection with A1A (SR 200) and capacity in the storm pond for the future A1A (SR 200) widening project. Baker Klein served as Engineer of Record and was responsible for the overall design of the roadway. BKE designed all aspects of the project including the pavements sections, roadway markings and signage, stormwater system design, and utility systems including 12” pvc watermain and, gravity sanitary sewer system. Design also included all roadway geometry, grading plans, and maintenance of traffic plans. A future project in this area included the signalization and intersection design of the Commerce Blvd. and A1A(SR200) intersection. All design and construction plans provided by BKE.
